To provide a secure escrow solution and protect both parties from payment frauds, we collect specific parameters:

• KYC Verification Details: Name, phone number, email address, Bank Verification Number (BVN) or National Identification Number (NIN).
• Financial Metadata: Virtual account transaction logs, transfer references, and custody balances.
• Verification Coordinates: Geolocation latitude/longitude tags and timestamps captured during live in-app proof submissions.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your details are used solely to facilitate payments, calculate verified WorkScores, and arbitrate disputes:

• To allocate dedicated virtual accounts on Nomba's rails.
• To confirm photographic proof alignment with GPS location profiles.
• To identify and suspend collusive or duplicate merchant profiles.

3. BVN / NIN Verification Policy

WorkReceipt never stores raw Bank Verification Numbers (BVN) or National Identification Numbers (NIN) on our servers. Verification queries are routed directly through Nomba's licensed payment wrappers and secure CBN-compliant clearing channels. The results are encrypted and saved solely as a verification confirmation flag.

4. Compliance & Data Protection

We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). All session configurations and credentials saved on your device (e.g. `localStorage`) are encrypted. We employ Secure Socket Layer (SSL) channels for REST APIs communication and perform HMAC signature verification on incoming Nomba transfer webhooks.
